We had a surprise visit from Matt and Rebecca Vandersluis - friends who live on Whidbey Island in Washington. Matt was in San Diego having lasik so we have one last picture of Matty V. with glasses and a future Matty V. without glasses!

September 08 Kate gets her first hair bow!!

Kate finally has enough hair to necessitate a hair bow and boy is she CUTE with it! Oh and she also got her first pair of shoes! She is such a girl! She loves her shoes! And I assume she likes her hair bow too because she'll pat it on her head but, she hasn't even tried to take it out!

Alex playing his new leapfrog computer game

I took Alex and Kate to the Pumpkin Patch in Del Mar the first day it opened and we had a great time! There were about 10 other kids there total so we had the run of the place! Here is Kate on her first carnival ride! She looks thrilled doesn't she?

Because there were so few people there, they let Kate try the big slide! She got stuck about halfway up but, she was certainly trying!
